Event for parents of binational/international Rainbow Families – Veranstaltung für Eltern binationaler/internationaler Regenbogenfamilien (Berlin, Germany)

Evening event for parents of binational/international Rainbow Families on Monday, 25 April 2016, 7:30-9pm
We would like to invite all parents of binational/international Rainbow Families to the Rainbow Families Centre for an evening of socialising, networking and exchange. Topics could include, but are of course not limited to, legal challenges that come with facing more than one national legal framework and experiences with bureaucratic processes (e.g. child benefit application, parent money, step-child adoption…).
We will also present the work of NELFA, the Network of European LGBTIQ* Families Associations.
Parents-to-be are also very welcome. The event will be held in English and German, as required. Some Spanish translation is also possible.
The evening is hosted by the Rainbow Families Centre in cooperation with NELFA (www.nelfa.org)

Abendveranstaltung für Eltern binationaler/internationaler Regenbogenfamilien, Montag, 25. April 2016, 19:30-21:00 Uhr
Wir möchten alle Eltern binationaler/internationaler Regenbogenfamilien zum gegenseitigen Kennenlernen, Netzwerken und Austauschen einladen. Mögliche Themen könnten zum Beispiel Herausforderungen und Umgang mit unterschiedlichen Rechtssystemen sein und Austausch über Erfahrungen mit der Bürokratie (z. B. in Bezug auf Kindergeld, Elterngeld, Stiefkindadoption…).
Zudem werden wir die Arbeit von NELFA, dem Netzwerk Europäischer LSBTIQ* Familienorganisationen, vorstellen.
Zukünftige Eltern sind auch herzlich willkommen. Die Veranstaltung ist in Deutsch und Englisch, je nach Bedarf. Eine spanische Übersetzung ist auch eventuell möglich.
Die Veranstaltung ist eine Kooperation zwischen dem Regenbogenfamilienzentrum und NELFA (www.nelfa.org).
