Families in the Midwest is Family Equality Council’s annual Midwest destination event for parents who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer (LGBTQ), their children, extended families, prospective families, and friends. From that Friday afternoon through Sunday morning, there will be a wide variety of family activities, programming and just plain FUN, for all ages! Parents and other adult attendees will discover a number of opportunities to build community with one another and to learn more about some of the issues facing our families today.
