IFED Celebration USA, Somerville

On May 1st, 2016, LGBTQ families and their supporters in Somerville, Massachusetts and around the world will be participating in the 5th annual International Family Equality Day celebration. IFED celebrates all the different kinds of families with the goal of increasing the international visibility of LGBTQ families. Event will be held in Davis Square, Somerville, MA from 1 to 5 pm. By celebrating International Family Equality Day, The Rainbow Initiative, Family Equality Council and our partners across the globe raise awareness among politicians and the general public about the need for equal treatment and recognition for all families, regardless of the sexual orientation or gender identity of their family’s members.
