Rainbow Families celebrates #IFED16, Australia

RAINBOW FAMILIES is thrilled to join partners across the globe in celebration of the fifth annual International Family Equality Day (IFED) – a world-wide celebration of the LGBTQ parenting and family community.

IFED aims to highlight the diversity of family structures and to strengthen solidarity among families, helping to raise awareness among politicians and the general public about the need for equal treatment and recognition for all families, regardless of the sexual orientation or gender identity of their family’s members.

Rainbow families, friends and allies across New South Wales will be celebrating on Sunday May 1 with a number of official #IFED2016 events.
